Review: 'Jo-Jo & The Teeth'
'Don'y Get Too Heavy'

-  Label: 'i-tunes/youtube'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '6.5.22.'

Our Rating:
This is Jo-Jo & The Teeth's debut single, and I have to say as I've been living with Jo Jo the surgical Dental nurse for over 20 years now, I love the band name. The Jo-Jo in question in this case is Jo-Jo O'Donohue who formed the band in London England having moved from the Rocky mountains in Canada, via The Isle Of Wight, where she found a couple of band members, to add to the other Canadian in the band and added another one from Surrey along the way.

Don't Get Too Heavy has a glam punk sound with guitars that get within an inch of going widdly, as the tale at the centre of this song about someone who threatens to get far heavier with Jo-Jo than she would like. This reminds me of Buck & Evans as this is glam Punk with a blues edge to it and full-throated vocals that make it feel familiar after a couple of listens as it has a very classic sound to it.
