Review: 'Ronan Conroy'
'Double Helix'

-  Label: 'Bandcamp'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '30.8.22.'

Our Rating:
Double Helix is the first single from Ronan Conroy's new album The Slow Death Of The Love Myth that's been produced and engineered by Charlie Nieland. Ronan was born and raised in Dublin and is now based in Brooklyn.

Double Helix starts like it wants to be a huge stadium filling rock ballad, as Julie Dicterow's far more gauzy vocals come in, surrounded by the swirling strings, it feels rather all encompassing as you figure out just why you might need that Double Helix, as if you're figuring out where this single falls, between the Cocteau Twins and Miranda Sex Garden with a cool ethereal twist or two.
