This is a timely re-issue on cd of Louise Connells 2020 charity single raising money for The Trussell Trust as they try to make sure everyone has something to eat this Christmas. Louise is from Airdrie and her new album will be coming out in the new year.
For Christmas is a gorgeous sad song, telling us how hard it is to get by, for someone struggling not able to pay their bills or feed themselves, or their children, all wrapped up in strings, as Louise wonders how she ended up suffering like this. We must all take heed while trying to help those less well off, also to make sure we have a government who cares for all the people.
