Our Rating:
This is this year's Larry Mullins and Mike Watt Record store day Stooges 7" single is for all the Stoogeaholics who need another version of TV Eye. This follows on from the monumental 7" version of Funhouse from a couple of years ago.

The only vocals are at the start of part 1 on the a-side of this sax led heavy jazz punk version built around that imperviously granite riff, the sax doesn't let up as the guitar come in and out adding texture and heft as the other bits assault our ears, on yet another colossal version of this monumental tune, that I own far more than a 100 versions of, the rock solid drums pin everything down as they take it down deep down, it sounds more like timpani than standard drums.

Part 2 or the b-side keeps up the monumental drums and lets that riff come back in again, pulsating as the drums kick off, it all comes back in for the grand finale to make sure that riff is once again stuck in my head for days after hearing it, also being instrumental you can sing the tune yourself over the top of this should you have a better singing voice than I do.
