Don't Be A Fascist is the second single by London based multi-national band Tantrum Centrum that was recorded and produced by Steve Evans. The band are Vaat Dafuq, Sabine de Rousseau, Valhalla Schimmer, and Kur Putchnik.
Don't Be A Fascist is I hope a message we should all agree on, if you disagree why the hell are you reading this. The tune is one of many new wave almost punk songs on this subject, urging you to not get enamored of Hitler and the Third Reich, with a chorus that should be easy enough to get a large crowd singing along too.
Der Leiermann has a slight folky edge to the new wave, making them sound like they are somewhere in between Nervous Cabaret and Tri Sestry on a song that also has echoes of Brecht and Weill, the radio edit just trims off all the fat, that really doesn't exist, to make it easy to slip into a radio show at just under 3 minutes long.
