Our Rating:
Time to go Upstate in New Jersey to find out just what Prison is all about, what life in a High security environment is all about, with the hard core miscreant crew of inmates known as Sarim Al-Rawi, Mike Fellows, the Late lamented Sam Jayne gone since 2020, Matt Lilly and Paul Major who were locked up and forced to make this double album together. This is dedicated to anyone who doesn't know what a Mugshot is.

The album opens with the field holler of Holding The Building Up/The Prison Within a 15 minute monster of heavy torture imprisonment blues, wailing howling in pain guitars, screaming in agony vocals, never ending field holler, of the yard's chain gang, never stop telling us that they are still Holding The Building Up, screws have been turned, bass shivved into shape, bleeding in agony, deep in the hole howling cries, Holding The Building Up, slowing the miasma down as the screws have administered the sedatives again, Mogadon moments inmates whispering evil between walls, notes showered with glistening soap bars as the orders get barked, whose the daddy.

Hold Em Up/Coming Down On Me flailing guitars, smash your face cymbal smashes, cracking skull bass, distorted threats, punishment awaits, stomp those feet, march in line the gruel awaits, go go go avoid the lash eat that, make those number plates, don't go out of the gates, Man holds your ass in the vice, snippets of violence zip in and out of frame, just don't mention Sing Sing, sinking into a coma the pain subsides.

Low Hanging Disco Ball/So Alone love in the punishment cell, dancing in the shower stall, butch bass tapping at your Disco Balls, smoked voices yelling in the miasma, howls of pleasure painfully released, Alone in the hole once more, no tissues allowed, bass intrusions circling that disco ball, slowly circling the drain in pain, down in the hole, you have no control, let that riff control your brain.

I Always Get What I Want/Playin' Pool With The Planets has Daddy showering us with walls of noise, distorting everything, bending notes, distaining howling outrage, bent double accepting the incarceration punishment, getting it just so, trying to remember what happened in that one fight, the fight to end all fights, in praise of Mary Anne someone let the Spacemen in, lock them up now. Endless repetition, every day the same, eat that bully beef again, get in the yard, your game of pool is done, 8-ball in tube sock pummeling your head again. Where did they stick that pool cue sticky ending.

The album closes with one more long song Destroy/Cooking With Heat ready to rumble as the wing descends into a riot, mattresses slashed, razors ripping at flesh, battering at the walls, Warders wailing in agony, clamp down coming, fires raging, break 'em out of the hole, smash the walls as you turn up the heat. Destroy Destroy Destroy your mind, the warders, the prison, the system, Destroy Destroy Destroy the government the police, most of all destroy any idea you don't need this monster of a double album in your life, go buy it now, before Prison show you the error of your ways, by taking your hands and sticking them on that frying pan Cooking With Heat to make sure you buy this now.
