'and: The Process Of Making Us Well'

Our Rating:
This is the long overdue release of Sweetheart's one sided 12" EP, originally recorded in 2005 and left unreleased as the band broke up before the record could come out, finally after being begged by Justin at Expert Work Records this 12" Single alongside the bands previously unreleased album is finally seeing the light of day. So that this Hardcore band from Kent, Ohio can finally receive their dues. The band were Ahmed Gallob, Michael Howard, Greg Lofaro and Bryan Parker. This tune was recorded by the band in a warehouse in Columbus Ohio in spring 2005.

The 12 minute 12 second long and: The Process Of Making Us Well opens as a slow acoustic tune, as they start to feeling there way, the bass drum pattern brings texture slowly forming ideas of the marriage of Kyuss to Her Name Is Calla with full on visions of Broderick.

Hi-Hat cymbals bring intensity, as guitar notes bend to your will, let the healing begin, broken waves reverberate wringing the pain from within as strained vocals explain what all the pain is about, stream of consciousness the need to vent, splenetic vocal streams into the breakdown, dissolving resolving, reanimating chordal discordance, pain ripping through the components, sincerely hoping you understand why they are swallowing songs and biting their tongues again.
