Review: 'I Will Take You Hunting'
'Not Broken'

-  Label: 'Last Night From Glasgow'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '19.4.24.'

Our Rating:
I Will Take You Hunting are a new Hardcore biker rock trio with an industrial edge from Scotland they are Dave Martin, Steve Simms and DJ Butterscotch.

The album opens with Jesus Is My Airbag all about what would happen if you actually sat down for a chat with the main man, this is played in a Ministry meets Orange Goblin style, this may well get some head scratching at the lyrics, but it's a great biker rock tune with a huge riff that can't be denied before they close the song by sampling William S. Burroughs.

No Gods keeps the irreverent religious theme, as they tell us you have no gods, no masters or self-serving bastards as the anger pours out of them, like Black Spiders on too much speed with the scratching adding a touch of an Mordred influence.

Not Broken opens with DJ Butterscotch scratching as that next colossal riff arrives to batter away at us, as they try to find a part of Britain that's not Broken yet.

At War With The Dance Floor is super speedy dance rock, as they pulverise in search of anyone who can break dance to a song this speedy, this is a Taxi War Dance on crystal meth, as they seem to sample a Helen Love synth break with nods to Atari Teenage Riot.

Creepy Little Thing Want Love is for some real mope that's creeping around wanting things to get hot and sweaty in ways that aren't on offer, so go on that dancefloor and mosh yourself into exhaustion, throw yourself off the speaker hit the walls and get it all out.

RAIN is gonna come and wash away all the dirt in IWTYH lives, as this full-throated rant at life's wrong turns that can only be healed with monstrous riffs for Motorheaded whack jobs.

No I In Team allows them to let us know how selfish pricks annoy the fuck outta them, while telling us what they will do to those parasites, this is slightly leaner but no less mean.

No Regrets doesn't sample the Walker Brothers at the start but a little old lady who sounds like the woman Telefis sampled last year, before a screed of all the people you need to say the truth too, to make sure you really have No Regrets.

JUNK rages against just how damaged everyone they know is, you need to let all the pressure and trouble go, just cleanse yourself of all the Junk while you lose yourself in the huge kicking riff and gang style backing vocals.

The album closes with Rabbit has an adrenal blast to try to drive your misery out of you as they make sure you know your not alone, so ask for any help you may need. If all else fails let them clobber you over the head with another massive riff.
