Rodney Cromwell is back with his latest Ep Exercise Class that goes with his current mid-life crisis crush allowing his alter ego Adam Cresswell to pull on the Lycra and go for it. Adam was originally in Saloon and Arthur And Martha both of whom were loved by John Peel.
Exercise Class is gauzy synth pop work out music for the gym averse, who feel that going to Pilates or Zumba is only worth doing, if it means she'll go out with you. Go on get into that Lycra outfit and join a spin class now. The lyrics are almost as snarky as Slapp Happy's Everybody's Slimming, with which it has a few lyrics in common, now find that work out cassette and get too it, like I will be to follow my current physio regime.
Madeline Trip is a Kraftwerk style synth pop interlude before we get back to Exercise Class for the Ant-People Remix that has a far more pumping beat to keep in time to, while you pump your body in time with the music. Somehow the vocals sound droller on this mix.
The ep closes with Exercise Class the Radio mix that's perfect for the 7.30 am green goddess selection of the day, so we can all flex our pecs, before dashing off to the daily grind, he may claim he is being humiliated, but the only real humiliation is not flexing while listening to this ep of a super catchy exercise song.
Thankfully I can complete my current physio routine in the time it takes the EP to play, it sounds better with the lady from Physiapp giving additional instructions throughout the ep.
