Review: 'ONE ADAM ONE'
'Monday Morning EP'

-  Label: 'Die Trying Records'
-  Genre: 'Alt/Country' -  Release Date: '4th September 2024'

Our Rating:
One Adam One are St. Louis, Missouri duo Adam Reichmann and Todd Schnitzer who used to be part of the alt-country band Nadine who were clearly influenced by Neil Young and Crazy Horse.

Reichmann writes the songs and sings in a laid back manner.

Schnitzer comes up with electric but not overly intrusive musical backing to add to the acoustic foundations.

This is their second EP.

The record features five low key songs about passing moments and fleeting emotions beginning with Monday Morning and ending with Sideways Sundays.

In the title song Reichmann sings “I should’ve stolen more time / I should’ve taken it easier /I didn’t know it could feel so / Divine.”

The pervasive mood is of introspective melancholia but the sadness feels manageable and not altogether unpleasant.
