Only Fair is the latest EP from this French Punk one man band, from La Rochelle, who have turned into a trio Bart & The Brats, who are an old school lean mean punk band, with speedy riffs and angry vocals.
The A-Side comes racing out of the speakers like it's taken a heap of speed, Only Fair sounds like classic bratty punk, a classic heavy riff and shouted vocals, nailing the flag to the wall, that they don't care and that they will be out of their heads, like the true Heartbreakers disciples, the guitar solo makes that claim too.
Hardest Things In The World is for a band like this to slow down, they are on a mission to fry your mind, hoping you'll agree with them, or they will sit and talk to you for hours about their obsession with Guilty Razors.
The B-side opens with What's In It For Us well at least a claim to be in hock to the Dead Boys, they blast through another short sharp shock of a tune.
The Ep closes with When The Shit Hits well you'd better duck and get out the way of the splenetic guitars driving this on full pelt into your mind.
