Days is the debut album by Liverpudlian duo The Wood who are Alex Evans and Steve Powell who recorded the album at Ark Recording Studios with assistance from Jake Howden-Woodward, Jay Irving, Roy Corkill, Martin Smith, Simon James, Amy Chalmers, Matt Phillips, Andy Jacobson, Mike Smith, Phil Melville, Charlie and Clair Griffiths.
The album opens with the funky insistence of Let It Loose its time to shake your goose, over a laid back groove the brass section drives things on.
