Previously Drew & Ellie Holcomb have busied themselves pursuing separate careers so this is the couple’s first full-length album as a duo.
There is one cover but otherwise they compose and sing every song together. The thirteen tracks were recorded live-in-the-studio at the Sound Emporium Studios in Nashville.
Drew says "Memory Bank reflects nearly 20 years of marriage and hard work” and the depth of devotion and harmony is reflected in the lyric I hope we grow old together in Never Gonna Let You Go.
The Motown-inspired Rain or Shine is typical of the reciprocal adoration: “You’ll be my slow and steady, I’ll be your bottom line.”
On the fun and funky You Drive Me Crazy they sing of the challenges of balancing childcare duties with lustful instincts. In Shut Up and Dance they turn a cover of the bouncy Walk the Moon tune into a bantering conversation between two lovers.

Gentle meditative songs like Maybe You Will and Silver Thread provide a wider perspective on their romantic reflections.
A break from all the amorous content comes with Where You Gonna Go , a gritty slice of Americana which channels Aunt June's character from Barbara Kingsolver’s Pulitzer-winning novel ‘Demon Copperhead’.
All in all, what might have been an embarrassingly self-indulgent and sentimental exercise is actually a touchingly down to earth display of personal growth and mutual gratitude.
