Review: 'Sleuth Gang'
'Safe Bet'

-  Label: 'Dead Rat Records'
-  Genre: 'Hip-Hop' -  Release Date: '29.5.25.'

Our Rating:
Safe Bet is the new single by Leeds based rap rock act Sleuth Gang who are Lewis Jones, Jeremy Gordon, Sam Hunter, Lennon Rowntree, Dan Rushton, Tom Dixon and Travis King who recorded at 6 Db Studios in York with Dave Boothroyd in the producers chair.

The first of the three versions of Safe Bet on this single is the straight version, a solid rap rock song with angry vocals, pointing out all sorts of things going wrong with a relationship that make them cry out Holy Moly Guacamole, with a super catchy chorus that needs a crowd chanting along with them, this has huge potential if they can get the right airplay, or get enough people to see the top notch video.

The BVRZ Remix of Safe Bet has drill aesthetics and is far more dank dancehall for all the freaks, this punches a lot harder, but lacks some of the sing along potential of the first version. Instead going deep to the heart of weird electronic dance for blokes who love dancing in tank tops.

The third version is the instrumental Dub that's ready for the band to sing over live at radio sessions or PA appearances if they do that sort of thing.
