Review: 'Dirty Pins, The'
'Deaf to the Middle Class EP'

-  Label: 'Criminal Records UK'
-  Genre: 'Post-Rock' -  Release Date: '14th March 05'-  Catalogue No: 'CRIM1008CD'

Our Rating:
Dub them the Sex Pistols of this decade, this band have the amazing ability to live rockstar lifestyles, and still managing to mix lots of influences such as Sham 69, The Pistols and The Clash into their own unique rock sound as seen on their debut EP.

Track ‘I feel so Milton Keynes’ & 'Modern Amusements' is a hilarious example of this with clever lyrics and a great sound. Track 'Spastic Society' tells a story of an apathetic culture, although it may be somewhat open to misinterpretation.

After hearing the EP & following the bands gigs, it is easily understandable why The Dirty Pins are causing a stir & getting increasing mentions on the London circuit including South London Press, Artrocker & radio play on Kooba radio & wirelessfm.net - despite being barred from playing a growing list of UK venues.
