This Canadian songwriter has recently quit playing live but is now into double figures with solo albums.
His back catalogue includes a 2014 album release ‘Hazy Sunshine’ which has pretty much the same serenely summery mood as ‘Living’.
The album begins with Summer Gloss and ends with Moonlanding.
In between he takes time to visit La La Land and muse blissfully on Sundried Daises.
The grime and grittiness of everyday life is put on hold as Ellsworth waxes lyrically on sunshine and optimism.
The breeziness doesn’t prevent it from being mildly soporific.
