This absorbing instrumental album by a Norwegian composer, producer, and classically trained pianist was conceived during a period of loss and change.
The eight short compositions (none last more than five minutes) were recorded in Oslo shortly after the passing of Husebø’s youngest brother, Andreas Hamre (1988-2025).
Perhaps inevitably, the pieces have a sombre mood. Husebø says "I wanted to create music that could hold beauty, light, darkness and vulnerability, while maintaining a sense of resistance and instability."

Using synthesizers, samplers, electronics, and layered sound processes, the album’s textures are not driven by beats but create a swirling atmosphere that drift subtly between a sense of serenity and disquiet.
The synthetic nature of the instrumentation in no way detracts from the rich organic quality and discreetly emotional resonance.
