Nous Deux is the debut ep by Foglights who are a new indie folk psyche duo comprised of Eva Cord and Archie Ingram from The Cords and Stone Anthem.
The Ep opens with The Rain Felt Kind a gently pattering, psychedelic hazy shower or narcoleptic wonder, like Damon & Naomi in the sparse spaced calm being created.
I Don't Know is hushed reverent feelings of indecision, within an velveteen haze of early Vaselines style innocence and reverence, for the sound being evocatively played, encompassing the doubt in their minds.
The Day The Light Stayed (Longer Than Us) is obviously a Midsommars tune, for chasing around the flower pole, drinking schnapps and then slowly strumming through midnight light, while finding new love and wonderment before chasing any cares away.
A Brighter Kind Of Almost has chirping birds over the reverbed acoustic guitar and keyboard sheen of intrigue, whirls of intent for finding the way towards A Brighter Kind Of Almost feeling the same things as you do.
