Review: 'FULLER, TOM'
'BACK AGAIN'

-  Label: 'RED CAP'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '2005'

Our Rating:
The start of this single is quite nice. You know the sort of thing, a bit of folksy finger picking, some warm harmonies, pretty melody, etc. Sadly it rapidly warps into an evil, synthetic MOR Dad-Rock epic of sickening proportions.

I should have known given that the artwork on the cover looked as though it has jumped straight from an early Marilion album cover - Court Jesters In Space, ad nauseum.

You can well imagine the sort of people who would listen to this: aging men from the Home Counties, who were never rockers back in the day, but they did the odd bit of air guitar along to their Phil Collins collection.

Not surprisingly, TOM FULLER is marketed as not only being a successful musician, but a dab handed businessman. Which explains a lot.

Think Alan Partridge. Think "Gaudete, Rock On". You get the picture.
