They've toured with Mew, and are starting another one with OK Go! in February. Their website shows the band as a typically British invention, along with tea at 4.30 with jam and crumpets, but don't be fooled. Beneath the kitsch, and quirky exterior is just another middle of the road rock band.
ENVY AND OTHER SINS newest release, 'Prodigal Son' is a tuneful, melodic offering, reminiscent of Muse and other 90s rock sensations- nothing too heavy and angry, but still with enough passion and reverb to scare away the wettest indie fans. 'Prodigal Son' is a nice change from what's being played on a radio near you at the moment, and for this, and this alone, I like it.
