Review: 'TRABANT'
'LOVING ME/ GALDUR'

-  Label: 'SOUTHERN FRIED'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: 'February 2006'

Our Rating:
Oh, those kerazy Icelanders and that out-there Southern Fried lot, what will the combination of the two unleash? Surely it’ll be madness madder than Yahoo Serious’ hair could ever provoke, tunes more bonkerser than Timmy Mallet, zanier than, well, Billy Zane.

Well it has a go, but doesn’t quite manage it – it’s the aural equivalent of people who say “I’m mad, me” then go and fill out another order form for paperclips. First track “ Loving me” is a guitar-dance intro that never progresses into a full blown song, the awkward voice grating annoyingly over the lacklustre backing track. Admittedly, the singer is really going for it, hut why? The music never catches up and fizzes and pops along unconvincingly, always threatening to do something but never quite managing.

Second track “Galdur” is another attempt at keraziness comprising some computer noises/music and some scratching. Oooh, he’s scratching the Chuckie Egg Soundtrack, isn’t it bonkers? No, it’s crap.
