No beating about the bush, this is a fucking brilliant single. Listening to this will transport you back to the good old days of when the term "Indie" actually meant something. Thumping drums, whirling bass lines, soaring trippy, whispering vocals, and damn fine jingly-jangly guitars to boot.
The song itself bursts open with a killer guitar riff, and builds into a high-octane, sexy, spacious lovely racket, and to top it off they bring the tambourines in towards the end. In the words of MacDonalds, (shoot me now), I’m Lovin It.
Think Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine, The Boo Radleys, Ride, and the rest of it, and you’re going along the right lines. On hearing this, I immediately knew that this was going to be one of those tracks that would get played to death, and then played again some more.
