Our Rating:
I am in a state of shifted consciousness, momentarily spellbound by this quite delightful single. It can come to you as a seven inch vinyl disc anytime after April 24th this year but I would recommend early ordering from their evil employers Domino Records or some other grubby commercial outlet, equally unfit to touch their pristine work.

Carim Clasmann and Galia Durant make beautiful songs from insect legs, cycle spokes, leaves, cat drawings and accidental perceptions of urban life as no less beautiful than you want it to be. Galia's Dad helps out on B side "Wet Box".

Seriously. It is very charming, deceptively adroit in its musicianship, and the video is great. I don't think you can encode video onto vinyl. But get out there and track it down. PSAPP are the opposite of Ozzy Osbourne, and harsh people might be tempted to use the word "twee". Such harsh and unfeeling people probably didn’t like NIZLOPI's JCB song either and they definitely wouldn’t get NAPOLEON IIIrd or VASHTI BUNYAN. The one thing not to do, I would guess, is to hear this as frivolous or affected. Beneath the endearing cat drawings, breathy vocal and scratchy electro instrumentation are subtle rhythms, good tunes and a devoted creativity. Hooray!
