’Buskers Day Out’ is a bounding three minutes of sea shanty skiffle. Itchy drums, western saloon keyboards, unbound guitar and stamping tempo changes, MSF could be The Coral of the south.
B-Side ‘Six string layabout’ is a needlessly gentle rolling country lament which will inevitably roll straight on by. ‘Put two pounds in a paper cup’ as vocalist Reid Morrison puts it. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.
