Review: 'FREELANCE HELLRAISER'
'WAITING FOR CLEARANCE'

-  Label: 'UGLY TRUTH/ SONY BMG'
-  Genre: 'Dance' -  Release Date: 'July 2006'

Our Rating:
Featuring vocals from Gary Lightbody (Snow Patrol and The Reindeer Section) The Freelance Hellrasier’s second album is a fantastic mix of dance, pop and soul.

The Freelance Hellrasiser a.k.a Roy Kerr first shot to fame back in 2001 with his remix of Christina Aguilera’s ‘Message In A Bottle’ spliced with The Strokes ‘Last Nite’ and has since remixed songs by the Bodyrockers and Paul McCartney. His latest offering though is a more chilled out selection of dance and pop tracks with Lighbody’s beguiling vocals providing the perfect harmony to soaring tunes and pumping beats.

Each track moves seamlessly into the next, providing an uplifting and fast paced album full of rare an beautiful gems of tracks such as ‘You Can Cry All You Want’ and ‘Weightlessness’- haunting and mesmerising tracks from one incredibly talented DJ. Wonderful!
