Imagine a universal disco beat, backed by generic keyboards and trumpet fanfares and nondescript vocals asking listeners to leave their name and number, and you’ve basically heard this single already.
Don’t waste your time giving it a second listen, the effect is depressing, leaving you asking questions like- ‘how can such bland, boring tunes be allowed to be released?’ and ‘haven’t I heard this before?’ The answer to the latter is of course no, but it just sounds so familiar as it’s exactly the same as any
other summer dance release of the last 10 years.
