Our Rating:
Oh Yawn. Another collection of boys, playing guitars, probably wearing black, looking surly, and sounding like every other spikey/punky/artsy band currently doing the rounds. Do they not find it depressing playing this stuff all the time?

THOUSAND NATURAL SHOCKS describe themselves as “new-wave with a bit of art-rock going on”. What? They sound a bit like Suede but with less dimension and more spike in their guitars? Yeah I’ll go with that.

They’ve already supported the likes of Morning Runner (contrived Keane Sound-a-likes), The Paddingtons (I saw them once, they thought it would be controversial to wear dungarees. Talk about progressive…), and Plot to Blow Up The Eiffel Tower (ahem). So in terms of their musical career, they’re not doing to bad. Its all a bit contrived though. And boring. Ah well…
