Review: 'redcarsgofaster'
'MICRO'

-  Label: 'HIGH VOLTAGE'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '14th August 2006'

Our Rating:
With an energy and self-belief that has to be heard, to be believed, Redcarsgofaster display their intense and explosive indie rock for all to see with the fast paced and edgy ‘Micro’.

Sounding more than capable of kicking the shit out of you in a way that only Mark E Smith knows how, Redcarsgofaster sound dangerous and more than capable of using it. Theirs is an immense, dense and spiralling sound and although not especially innovative, has potential smeared all over it. Comparisons between The Longcut, Bloc Party and more recently The Automatic are reasonable, but these post punk Leicester rockers are more convincing and given the choice you’d back the guys in the red corner every time.
