Review: 'FREELANCE HELLRAISER, THE'
'YOU CAN CRY ALL YOU WANT'

-  Label: 'UGLY TRUTH/ SONY BMG'
-  Genre: 'Dance' -  Release Date: '17th July 2006'

Our Rating:
Roy Kerr aka The Freelance Hellraiser has done it again with the buoyant happy go lucky ‘You Can Cry All You Want’. A beautifully crafted bittersweet gem of a song that’s more up than down but doesn’t take anything for granted.

Listen hard enough and you can pick out influences aplenty; The Happy Mondays without the pills, The Streets without the crack, take your pick. Free flowing vocals that are in no hurry to be heard but that demand your instant attention all kept in check with a soft skipping beat and well placed star bursts of synthesiser. It’s nowhere near hell and could quite possibly make you cry tears of joy.
