Warrington based The Energy undoubtedly live up to their name with their mix of fast paced, heavy rock sounds. Their distinctive Northern vocals don't detract from the squealing guitars, thrashing drums and toe-tapping rhythms adored by indie kids up and down the country.
Hardly revolutionary, of course, but done with enough style to have legs. You could do worse than be won over by this bunch.
