‘Lost Summer Of Love’ is the latest release from The Trudy and offers up a delicious slice of perky indie pop. Taking a nod in the direction of a post Britpop St. Etienne, ‘Lost Summer Of Love’ promises a lot but ultimately fails to deliver. Its astral overtones are too whimsical to be sexy and there’s a distinct lack of progression and innovative thinking.
A song for the under 18’s indie dancefloors and one that can be listened to without too much thinking.
