This, according to the press release, is the 2nd single from Dublin-based songwriter Chris Singleton and it's a my first introduction to his music.
With a sound ready made for Summer I'm bitterly dissapointed to be listening to this in deepest Winter! Like the Beach Boys and Neko Case trying to sit down and sketch a Kinks song, this is pop-gold and a track that I really wouldn't object to hearing on daytime radio.
An upbeat and rewarding listen, Chris Singleton has that little something that makes you take notice. Production wise the impression here is a strong one too.
An all-round gem.
