Koopa are one of those bands that don't know if they're pop or punk. I think they're definitely pop, but I think they may see themselves as punk.
Sounding like many others before them such as Blink 182, Sum 41 and recently +44, they do what they do well. However, we've had our fill of Busted and McFly, and so I think this music has had it's day. If this CD had arrived at my door 5 years ago I would have predicted huge things for the band, but I think this ship has sailed, and Koopa may need to modernise their sound in order to make it big.
