Review: 'HARTNOLL, PAUL'
'PATCHWORK GUILT'

-  Genre: 'Dance' -  Release Date: '13th November 2006'

Our Rating:
You know that episode of Friends where Ross (sorry The Rossatron) is convinced he has a remarkable talent for playing the keyboard when in actual fact all he manages to produce is strange, disorganised noise? I hate to say it but upon hearing this track it was exactly what came to mind.

This may seem unfair but this music (a term I am not entirely happy giving it) seems to me to be nothing more than a pressing buttons on a keyboard exercise.

Although Paul Hartnoll does produce a far more coherent and at points listenable tune, the high pitched tones and bizarre computerised noises are not what I would really call particularly impressive. The second track 'Gloopy' follows much the same pattern and although I am sure there are many people and places where this kind of thing would be enjoyed it is not my cup of tea. I think I prefer Ross, at least he was funny!
