Essex based, Original Cast have blown me away with their ep 'Confidence’. These guys have the air of success! With tracks like ‘I got in a fight’ giving off the essence of East 17’s ballads, back in the old days, rolling into the energetic vibes of ‘Confidence’. This track took me back to Prodigy, I never expected any band to impress me like that!
Admittedly Original Cast don’t have that intriguing dark edge that Prodigy do, but they still have that certain something that will definitely grab your attention.
Who would have thought that Essex could churn out not one but two quality acts! Definitely worth a listen and no doubt impressive live!
