Review: 'HEDRONS, THE'
'HEATSEEKER'

-  Label: 'MEASURED/ PINNACLE'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '8th January 2007'

Our Rating:
Finally, the all female rock band we have been waiting for release their third single ‘Heatseeker’.

With their blend of original indie and biting rock, they are very easy on the ear, but lacking in the vigour they claim to have by the bucketload. However, having been the first British band to play a virtual gig on the internet phenomenon Second Life, the Hedrons are sure to gain the publicity they so ardently desire.

‘Heatseeker’ is a very pleasant and catchy song whose style is reminiscent of older bands such as Sleeper, but is repetitive and lacking in the energy that rock bands are synonymous for.

Hailing from Glasgow, there is no doubt that these girls have talent and their innovation as a band is sure to stand them in good stead. To hear more from the Hedrons check out their debut album ‘One more won’t kill us’ due for release on 5th February through Measured records/Pinnacle.
