Teressa’s debut album, ‘Days Ahead’ is a rather tidy example of RnB music with a twist of sexy funk. The vocal gymnastics on each track are no challenge for Teressa’s strong and supple voice and it’s great to hear that with each song one singer can bring so many different world music elements to a listener.
There is something on this album for everyone, its timeless ‘chug-factor’ fits neatly into so many pocket’s; the dynamics of this album are great, for every slow song there is a fast ones sitting patiently, waiting to kick off and get everyone moving.
This is definitely going to be the must have album for the BBQ season this year, move over Corine Bailey Rae make way for the new queen of groove, here comes Teressa!
