Our Rating:
Anyone for a Greaser revival? If so,dust of your leathers and check out this hairy bunch from Colorado. Jake Sproul (vox / bass), Daniel Sproul ( vox / guitars ) and Nathan Barnes(drums) play classic metal blues like punk never happened.

Their debut album was released in August 2006 and this single is timed to coincide with a short UK tour.

They are apparently making great waves on the live circuit having won support slots with Queens Of the Stone Age, Van Halen and The Who. Rolling Stone named them on a list of artists to watch, fitting given that they are exactly the kind of band that mag would have championed in the early 1970s.

Sandwiched between studio and demo takes you get a 6 and a half minute version as a sample of their on stage prowess. This contains a guitar part which has more than a passing resemblance to Jimmy Page's solo on Dazed And Confused.

It's certainly not hard to hear where they get their inspiration although to be fair, what they lack in innovation they make up with basic no frills energy.

One for the school of rock masterclass.
