THE BLACK FLASH. So called after the DC Comic character “The Black Flash”. Obviously. This character was apparently was a bit like Death, only a lot faster. It seems an appropriate name for this metal outfit.
Their new single “We Like Japan” could be a deranged advertisement for potential tourists wanting to visit the Orient. Once you get beyond the typical heavy metal-ness, you realise that this single is definitely an indie number, albeit pushed up a zillion notches and infinitely more psychotic. And all the more better for it as well.
Go on, grab a copy of their single and head-bang till your nose bleeds. You know you want to.
