Review: 'Device'
'Essex County Line'

-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: 'May 2007'

Our Rating:
From the opening riff of London's DEVICE, it's clear that 'Essex County Line' is going to be a belter. With a typically British charm, the song only gets better as the chorus kicks in - giving a smooth and perfect antidote to the wailing intro guitar.

This is one impressive single and gives you everything you'd expect from a band that played one of the last ever shows at New York's legendary CBGB club. 'Essex County Line' is also supported by a video, directed by award-winning lighting cameraman James Alexander. Seriously worth checking out!

I heard these guys a while back at the Half Moon in Putney, storming live band, by the sound of things their debut single is as good as I'd hoped it would be, catch them live if you can, they are amazing! DDJ x
