Imagine looking out across the sea as it calmly laps the shore; the sun dipping into the water on the far horizon and a balmy breeze gently soothing your scorched skin as you sit overlooking the beach and sip some unintelligibly named alcoholic concoction.

It's what HOT CHIP do best. Their electro-beat tunes have a way of enveloping your consciousness to the point that you love them before you realise what you have just heard. My Piano is indicative of that. Sure, it may not be the most immediate of their songs, but if you want to take some music on holiday with you this year to relax to in the evening and let the it sooth away your troubles you could do a hell of a lot worse.
