Another Sailor’s Dream by Hayward Williams is a superb example of quality song writing and musicianship. Hayward Williams effortlessly marries blues, folk, rock and country on this album and it sounds fantastic. If I was looking for someone to compare him too, it would probably be Willy Mason, however Hayward’s songs despite being as melancholy as Mason’s, have a real upbeat swing to them. Most excellent.
