As a session guitarist, Leeds based Robin Durbin has successfully worked the pop-soul-disco circuit and now launches a solo sideline with this debut 5 track EP.
As you may imagine, it is solidly played and slickly produced but there's nothing really to distinguish it from numerous other releases seeking a mainstream market.
Cheesy lyrics like "shine like a superstar 'cos that's what you are" give you an idea of what to expect.
It is pitched way too far into a bland MOR no man's land to make a real impression.
