Don't judge a single by it's cover (all of the time). The pink flower pattern on the front of this single by Miracle Fortress makes one think of something thoroughly cheesy and potentially sickening.
This is a very wrong impression. This is a euphoric synth-pop song that is very well structured; like Manitoba (as they were) placed in a big ensemble; or like a chorus of Mercury Rev's. It's lively, catchy and it'll make you walk with a spring in your step. The hook from this sounds like the choral elements of Arcade Fire, as interpreted on a keyboard – and it's great. Miracle Fortress have scorching afternoon slot at a festival written all over them – let's hope it will be so.
