That the sleeve to this single resembles the cover art of Belle & Sebastian is surely no coincidence since sound of this band from Stockholm has obvious similarities to that of the Scottish folky-popsters.
This is the band's debut UK single although they have already achieved notable success in the Swedish charts with singles 'No One Notices You Brand New T-shirt' and ‘Ney’(No).
The five piece are fronted by sisters Maria and Camilla, whose crisp and melodic harmonies owe much to the breezy charm of Simon & Garfunkel or,more recently, Kings Of Convenience.
They bill themselves as an acoustic blend of "rage, hope and beauty" although it's hard to detect much in the way of anger in these two songs.

'It Could've Been You' is a tale of missed opportunites leading to the fatalist reflection that,at 25, life's chances have already passed producing a feeling of going nowhere fast. The words may be relatively downbeat but the pop tones shine brightly regardless.
The b-side ('La,La,La,La') is, as the title suggests, a further slice of good clean fun that strays perilously close to tweeness.
Wholesome, playful pop with a slight sting in the tale.
