Tom Glynn is a personable singer songwriter who isn't ashamed to be spoken of in the same breath as fellow Bostonian, James Taylor.
As you might expect, therefore, his self produced album contains ten tracks of well crafted, slickly played and highly melodic songs which err more towards the bland than the bold.
It is unashamedly mainstream music which his press release acknowledges by referring to the "unabashed pop" sound – in other words,it’s the type of radio friendly fare championed by Bob Harris and his ilk.
The best tracks are the rousing title tune and the piano based 'June If it Rings True'.
The latter stands out because it dares to touch on deeper issues of deception and hurt in a relationship.
The remaining tracks stick to safer territory to make an album that's easy on the ear but low on thrills.
