The first few bars made me worry that I was in for some dogawful muso-fest. But no, it’s a little too off-kilter for that, and in fact it’s an altogether different beast.
There are bits of all sorts in here, with a funky rhythm and some laid-back soulful vocals bolstered by some wild horns and some psychedelic Hammond organ breaks. It’s groovy, slinky and just a little bit crazy. Yeah, this is fun! Dig it.
