Well, once again I'm presented with a remix without having heard the original track. Does it matter? Do I care?
The opening bars of 'One More Ride' take me straight back to the nineties. I have to admit that it's rather hard to explain exactly why this is. Perhaps it's the vocal style, which sounds like so many of the generic guitar bands that came and went. Not the jangly indie bands or the baggy ones, but the ones that were just that bit harder-edged, but ultimately lacked the balls. I'm still pondering this when a huge distorted synth swoops in and electro mayhem breaks out.

The genre clash is complete when rapid-fire drum 'n' bass drums, and... actually, it's an exhilarating mosh-up, that's as much EBM / Darkwave as it is techno and / or rock.
Suitably impressed, I sought out the original version. Rather disappointingly, it's rather standard rocky punk-pop. So you heard it here first: Christopher Nosnibor digs a remix! And I really do recommend checking it out, because it's a groove sensation!
