Every once in a while you'll hear something that makes you sit up and listen and ask incredulously 'what the HELL is this?' Dressed in Wires' latest offering, the insanely titled 'Yamamaba... *The*Crash*Is*The*Cannibal*' is a schizophrenic mash-up of stuttering drums, bollywood bangra, hyperactive techno, wibbly noodliness, 90s house and, er, chipmunk vocals. It's truly terrible, in every way.
Additional track 'Gan Mentals'(of which we get two versions) is similarly all over the place, a collision of styles that really don't sit with one another. It's more listenable, but probably only works if you've been toking on a phat bong y'all, know what I'm sayin'?
