Great. I was just thinking how much we need a new Diddy wannabe, a new figurehead in the lamecore rap scene. Lo and behold 'hot new artist' Aggi Dukes drops the first single from his forthcoming album and... well, there you have it.
Dukes is clearly cruising for the bigtime: his last mixtape shifted - wait for it - over 1,000 units, and this bland slice of Electro / Grime will probably sell even more. But then, we live in a world where Kanye and Dizzee shift download by the truckload, so it's hardly surprising, or impressive.
It's too mundane and mediocre to get worked up about, and frankly, it's not worth the energy anyway. Sonic wallpaper, you can pretty much take it or leave it. I'll be leaving it, thanks.
